Nigerian Construction Worker Who Got Pierced Through The A nūs And Come Out From The Chest After Falling From A High Building (Photos)

 A construction worker who was impaled by a rusty steel bar which entered through his buttocks and exited his chest has miraculously survived.

The unnamed Chinese workman from Chenzhou, Central Hunan Province, fell six feet onto the rusty pole.

He was given life-saving care at the city’s First People’s Hospital for his injuries.

The 64-year-old’s co-workers said he lost his footing while working on a platform and landed on the protruding 31.5-inch bar.

Doctor Zhang Jianwen said around 24 inches of reinforced steel bar entered his body via one of his rear cheeks.

Part of the metal was sheared off by firefighters at the worksite who helped him into the hospital, and who were also on standby during the start of what was eventually a six-hour surgery.

A hospital spokesman said: ‘The worker suffered damage to numerous internal organs, including one of his lungs during, the accident.

‘He survived the life-saving operation and is in critical but stable condition.’

He added: ‘He remains in the intensive care unit, report said, and is breathing via medical ventilation.’
